Tips for hosting an open house: Part 5 [Video]
Hello, and thanks for stopping by as we wrap up our series on holding the perfect open house. Once you’ve prepared your property and spread the word about your showing, it’s time to make potential buyers feel right at home.
On the day of your open house, ask your family to clear out, and take any pets you may have. Additionally, conceal any personal items or toiletries that might normally be visible. Pick a central location and stay there, but offer to take guests on in-depth tours if they so desire.
Make sure visitors are comfortable by using either room fans or space heaters to improve air quality. It’s also a good idea to bake cookies – not only will you have refreshments to offer guests, but they’ll make your home smell sweet and delicious.
Thanks for watching.
